Click "Generate" to create your first maze!
The generator below starts in circular mode. Choose sectors, rings, and braid percentage, then press Generate. A seed makes the result repeatable, so the same settings and seed recreate the same worksheet.
For a quick classroom page, start at 24 sectors and 12 rings. Use 32 x 16 when the first setting is finished too quickly.
Choose size and difficulty
Sectors divide the circumference. Rings add radial depth. Raising either value creates more cells, while the measured difficulty still depends on the route, junctions, and dead ends produced by the seed.
- Braid 0%. Keeps the dead-end structure of the generated maze.
- Increasing braid removes some dead ends and creates loops. The page may look more open while wall-following becomes less dependable.
- Seed. Keep it when you need the same student copy again.
| Preset | Sectors | Rings | Good starting use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quick | 24 | 12 | First circular maze or five-minute task |
| Standard | 32 | 16 | Regular worksheet |
| Long | 40 | 20 | Older students and adult solvers |
| Dense | 56 | 28 | Fine pencil and a focused session |
Export a PDF
After generation, download A4 PDF, Letter PDF, or SVG directly from the preview controls. PDF is ready for an ordinary worksheet. SVG is the editable master for a custom handout or enlarged display.
- 1Generate and inspect the entrance, exit, and corridor spacing.
- 2Download the PDF matching the loaded paper, or choose SVG for editing.
- 3Open print preview and confirm the complete outer ring.
- 4Keep the seed with your lesson notes when you want an identical replacement copy.
