Six more to print
More free printable mazes for kids and adults
The page above is a medium rectangular maze. These six change the shape and the difficulty band, from an easy rectangle to an expert hex grid. Each card downloads as a PDF or an SVG.
Easy, medium, hard, or expert: which maze to print
Medium is my default for a mixed-age table: corridors wide enough for a No. 2 pencil, dead ends that still cost a few reversals. Hand the same page to a four-year-old with a fat crayon and it turns into scribble, so drop to easy, where most grids sit between 10 x 10 and 15 x 15.
School-age solvers, five-minute breaks
15x15 grids and 12-ring circles. Enough wrong turns to matter.
Grid size is only part of difficulty. The score behind these labels also weighs how long the solution is, how many junctions and dead ends the maze has, and how often the correct path turns. Our difficulty guide shows what the labels measure.
Print your maze on one sheet without cropping
Download the file that matches your paper. A4 is 210 x 297 mm, US Letter is 8.5 x 11 inches, and both center the maze inside a 10 mm margin.
- 1
Match the paper
Check the tray or the paper wrapper, then pick the A4 or Letter button above before you open the print dialog.
- 2
Print at 100%
Select Actual Size or 100%. If the preview clips an edge, fix the paper size first. Fit to page is the fallback, and it narrows every corridor.
- 3
Run one test copy
Check that all four outer walls landed on the sheet, then trace the tightest turn with the pencil or crayon you are handing out. A wax crayon covers more corridor than the screen suggests, and a copier set to Draft thins the walls.

The preview on this page, both PDFs, and the online version read the same saved maze, so the walls do not shift between formats. Print it today, open the same puzzle online next week, and it is the same route. This one runs 50 moves from entrance to exit.

Common questions about printable mazes
- Should I download A4 or US Letter?
- US Letter for 8.5 x 11 inch paper, A4 for 210 x 297 mm paper. Both files are one page with the maze inside a 10 mm margin. Pick the matching paper in the print dialog, then print at Actual Size or 100%.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. Print it or download the PDF without an account, an email address, or a card. Personal and classroom use is covered by the site Terms. Reselling the mazes, or bundling them into something you sell, needs permission first. Read the usage terms.
- Does the PDF include an answer key?
- No. The single-maze PDF is the puzzle only, so the route is not sitting on the page next to the solver. Open the maze online and press Show to reveal the path, or press Hint to light up the next stretch. Worksheet packs download with a separate answer-key PDF. Browse maze worksheets and packs.
- What if this maze is too easy or too hard?
- Move one band at a time using the links on this page. The difficulty score weighs solution length, junctions, dead ends, and how often the correct path turns, not grid size alone, so a 20x20 easy maze can be gentler than a 10x10 hex one.
- Do you have mazes for kids and for adults?
- Yes. The kids mazes stay around 10x10 to 15x15, so the corridors stay wide enough for a crayon. The adult mazes start at 22x16 and run up to 28x28 grids and 56-sector circles. See the mazes for kids.
- Does the download have branding?
- Yes. A small Maze Printables line prints under the puzzle in both the PDF and the SVG. It sits outside the maze walls and never crosses a corridor.
- Can I make a different size or shape?
- Yes. The generator sets the grid size, switches between rectangular, circular, and hex, adjusts braiding for extra loops, and keeps the seed so the same settings redraw the same maze. Open the maze generator.
