Privacy Policy

This policy replaces all earlier versions. It applies to our articles, maze tools, and downloads. The Maze Blocker browser extension has a separate privacy policy.

Who is responsible for your data

Maze Printables is operated by Caravaca Labs, LLC ("we", "us"), a limited liability company organized in Delaware, United States. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect, and why

Information you give us

If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to handle your enquiry and investigate reports. Form messages are delivered through Resend to our contact mailbox, and we keep correspondence while it is needed to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up. Legal basis, where EEA or UK law applies: legitimate interests in responding to correspondence.

Please do not send passwords, payment details, or personal information about children. We do not require reader accounts, we do not host comments, and we do not ask readers for payment details on Maze Printables.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and security infrastructure processes IP addresses and basic request data to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. This is necessary to operate the service securely, and we do not use these request logs to identify ordinary readers. Cloudflare Turnstile may verify generator and contact requests when configured, processing browser and network signals to distinguish ordinary requests from automated abuse.

The maze generator processes settings such as shape, dimensions, and seed to produce the requested puzzle. Saving a maze can create a publicly accessible page; a shareable maze link is not private storage. Your browser's local storage remembers your theme preference and puzzle-solving streak on your own device, as described in our Cookie Policy.

Advertising, analytics and consent

Maze Printables currently uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity for audience measurement, including heatmaps and session recordings, and may serve advertising through Google Ad Manager or Google AdSense. These services may process device, browser, approximate location, and interaction data to measure site and advertising performance. Where consent is required, optional storage and personalised advertising remain disabled until that choice has been collected.

If Google AdSense or Google Ad Manager advertising is enabled for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Maze Printables will use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework where Google requires it, and personalised advertising will only be used where the required consent has been obtained.

Our Cookie Policy explains the categories of cookies and similar technologies that may be used. Once optional services are enabled, the site will also provide the controls required to review or change consent choices.

Affiliate links

We do not currently use affiliate-driven recommendations. If affiliate links are introduced, they will be labelled, and following one may allow an affiliate tracking provider and the destination merchant or service to process the click and any subsequent signup so it can be attributed to us. Their processing is subject to their respective privacy information.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data for money. Data may be processed by service providers that help us host, secure, and operate the site, and by advertising, analytics, consent or email providers when those services are enabled. We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to establish or defend legal claims.

International transfers

Our U.S.-based operation and service providers may process data outside your country. Where transfer safeguards are legally required for the relevant processing, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, those requirements apply. You can ask us for information about a particular provider or transfer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live and the processing involved, your data-protection rights may include the right to:

• access personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• ask for data to be deleted where the law provides that right;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• receive eligible data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

Some U.S. state laws also provide opt-out or appeal rights where their conditions apply. Email hello@mazeprintables.com with "Data request" in the subject line. If you are unhappy with how a data-protection matter is handled, you may also raise a concern with the data-protection authority responsible for your location.

Children

Our resources include activities for children, and parents and teachers should supervise their use. This site is not intended as a service for children to use on their own: we do not knowingly ask children to create accounts or submit personal information through the site. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the current version.
