Editorial Policy

Maze Printables covers printable mazes, puzzle activities, and maze-making for parents, teachers, and enthusiasts. This page sets out how we report, how we review, how we correct mistakes, and how our commercial arrangements work. Questions go to hello@mazeprintables.com.
What we publish
- Maze guides and solving strategies
- Printable puzzles and worksheet collections
- Maze history and culture
- Comparisons between puzzle types and difficulty levels
- Guides to our maze generator and downloads
Every article is reviewed and approved by an editor before publication. Research and drafting tools may assist the process, but a human editor is responsible for checking factual claims, deciding what is published and approving the finished article. We do not republish or lightly rework other publications' articles as our own.
Reporting standards
- We seek verifiable sources and credit the original reporter when a story is not ours.
- We do not write headlines that the article does not support. Age and grade suggestions are starting points; individual needs differ.
- We answer questions about our accuracy rather than ignoring them. Educational and wellbeing claims need particular care: our activities are not a diagnosis, treatment, or guarantee of improved learning, attention, or mental health.
How we test and describe puzzles
First-person claims about printing, building, or testing an activity are only made when that use actually took place. Articles based primarily on research are not presented as first-person testing. The editorial team as a whole is responsible for what appears on the site. Difficulty labels describe puzzle characteristics, not a standardized assessment of a reader's ability. Maze generation, solution paths, difficulty scoring, and file rendering are supported by automated checks in our software. Printer settings, paper, and user choices can affect results.
When we make a significant update to a guide or puzzle collection, we may revisit it. The publication and update dates on every article tell you how current it is.
Corrections
We correct errors rather than quietly deleting them. Send the article URL and the problem through our contact form or to hello@mazeprintables.com. Substantive corrections are noted on the article, and the update date changes so you can see it happened. Minor spelling or formatting fixes do not necessarily change an article's date.
Bylines and pen names
Maze Printables uses consistent editorial bylines so readers can follow work published under the same name over time. Read more on our About page. Editorial responsibility for everything on this site rests with Caravaca Labs, LLC.
Advertising, affiliates and independence
We keep a strict separation between advertising and editorial. Advertising is labelled as advertising. Articles containing affiliate links, if we introduce them, would carry a disclosure at the top. We do not currently accept sponsored articles or paid editorial placements.
Display advertising, if introduced, does not buy a verdict. If a puzzle type we feature has drawbacks, we say so. If a method we have no relationship with works well, we say that too. We do not accept payment to remove or amend a negative assessment, and we do not give advertisers advance sight of editorial coverage.
What we will not publish
We do not publish fabricated testimonials, unsupported promises of educational or health benefits, or unauthorized copies of other creators' work. References to games, brands, or historical sites do not imply an endorsement or commercial partnership. Adults should assess classroom and hands-on activities for the people and setting involved.
