What is in Easy Starters Pack?
Eight easy pages, all braided between 20% and 35%: rectangular grids from 12-by-12 up to 20-by-20, three circular layouts, and one small 10-by-10 hex. Loops are common at these settings, so a wrong turn usually bends back instead of hitting a wall. Answer routes run from 28 to 94 steps. Start a new solver on the 12-by-12 grid or the 10-by-10 honeycomb, and save the 20-by-20 rectangular page for when tracing stays tidy.
The puzzle download contains 8 pages, with one maze on each page. The current set includes 4 rectangular, 3 circular, 1 hexagonal mazes. Difficulty labels in this edition are 8 easy. Use these labels and the previews below when assigning pages; a pack name alone does not tell you how much pencil control or backtracking each solver will need.
A sequence for this set
Use Easy Starters as short, separate attempts rather than a race through the entire packet. Model tracing one corridor, then let the learner decide what to do at a dead end. Stop after a successful page if attention is fading.
Page 3 has the shortest measured answer route in this set: 28 steps. It is a useful page to inspect first, but a shorter solution is not a guarantee of an easier solve. Branches and path width also affect the experience. PDF pages follow the numbered cards below.
Print the puzzles and keep the answers separate
Choose A4 or Letter to match the paper loaded in the printer. Use actual size and one page per sheet for the first test copy. Check the outer walls and fine passages before running the rest. Keep the answer-key PDF at the same paper size: its pages follow the puzzle order, so answer page 3 corresponds to puzzle page 3. Give learners the unmarked puzzle file, not the answer file, and keep a master answer copy for checking work.
Pack questions
Must every learner finish the whole pack?
No. Select individual pages for a center, a quiet activity, or a home puzzle session. Keep unused pages for another day rather than making speed the goal.
Can I share copies with my class?
Personal and classroom printing is allowed. The site terms do not permit reselling the PDFs or bundling them into a paid worksheet product.
